FAQs:
Will the Resurfacing Night Cream cause sun sensitivities?
With all products that contain active ingredients, it is always recommended to use at least an SPF of 15. GlyMed Plus offers sunscreens with both SPF of 15 and 30+.
When is the best time to use Resurfacing Night Cream?
Resurfacing Night Cream with 15% Glycolic Acid is a great resurfacing treatment. Since our body works at night as we sleep to undergo cellular repair, Resurfacing Night Cream will be most effective as the last product applied at night.
Can my Resurfacing Night Cream also be my moisturizer?
Initially when you begin using glycolic acid in your home care regimen, you may experience some irritation, redness and dryness. This is part of the process of your skin adjusting to the active ingredient. You may find that you need more hydration during this time, but as the skin adjusts, many individuals find the Resurfacing Night Cream to be a great dual purpose product for the first two weeks to allow your skin to adjust. Remember to always wear your GlyMed Plus sunscreen when using alpha hydroxy acids.
Is this product safe for pregnant or breastfeeding moms?
Yes, however, your skin is more vulnerable to sun exposure during this time so make sure you are always wearing your GlyMed Plus sunscreen when outdoors.
