At K Beauty Bar, the practitioner is committed to delivering personalized, results-driven skincare in a professional, safe, and respectful environment. These policies ensure that every client receives the time, care, and attention they deserve.

 

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

When a client schedules an appointment, that time is reserved exclusively for them. The practitioner prepares in advance by setting up equipment, selecting products, reviewing client notes, and allocating the required time for the treatment. Short-notice cancellations directly impact the ability to serve other clients.

Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. With proper notice, deposits may be deferred to a future booking.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a forfeited deposit.
  • No refunds are issued for cancellations, late cancellations, missed appointments, or no-shows.
  • Clients may contact K Beauty Bar via text, phone, email, or direct message during business hours.

 

Deposits & Booking Terms

$40 deposit is required to secure all appointments and must be sent to: info@k-beautybar.com
Deposits are non-refundable and must be paid via e-transfer.

Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

 

Late Arrival Policy

15-minute grace period is provided for late arrivals. Clients arriving later than 15 minutes may receive a shortened treatment or may need to be rescheduled, depending on the day’s schedule.

 

No-Show Policy

Clients who fail to attend their scheduled appointment without notice will automatically forfeit their deposit and may be required to provide an additional deposit for future bookings.

 

Gift Card Policy

Gift cards are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. They may be used toward treatments or retail skincare purchases only.

 

Treatment Expectations

K Beauty Bar strives to deliver high-quality, safe, and effective treatments tailored to each individual’s skin concerns. However, clients should understand that:

  • Results vary depending on skin type, concerns, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare.
  • No specific outcome can be guaranteed.
  • Multiple sessions may be required for optimal improvement.
  • No refunds or exchanges are offered for completed treatments or treatment packages.
  • Long-term results require consistent homecare and maintenance treatments.

 

Treatment Packages

K Beauty Bar offers treatment packages to support consistency and long-term skin improvement.

  • Packages are non-transferable and intended solely for the original purchaser.
  • All packages are valid for six (6) months from the date of purchase.
  • Remaining sessions or credits within any package cannot be refunded, exchanged, or deferred beyond the expiry.

 

Sales & Promotions

K Beauty Bar may offer promotions or giveaways periodically.

  • Promotions are time-sensitive and must be redeemed within the specified deadline.
  • Promotions cannot be combined; the greater discount will apply.
  • Each promotion is subject to unique terms and conditions.

 

Personal Belongings

Clients are encouraged to limit personal items brought into the treatment room for cleanliness and organization.
K Beauty Bar is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

 

Illness & Wellness Policy

Clients experiencing fever, coughing, sore throat, or symptoms of illness should reschedule their appointment.

  • If a client notifies K Beauty Bar at least 12 hours in advance, the deposit may be deferred.
  • Clients who arrive visibly unwell will be asked to reschedule for the safety of all clients and staff.
  • No-shows due to illness without notice will be treated as a regular no-show, and the deposit will be forfeited.

 

Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of severe weather or service disruptions, K Beauty Bar follows local public safety guidance.
If travel conditions are unsafe, the practitioner will reach out to reschedule appointments. Clients are encouraged to book on days when they are confident in their transportation arrangements.

 

Respectful Conduct Policy

K Beauty Bar maintains a supportive, respectful, and professional atmosphere. Any form of verbal aggression, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
The practitioner reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if a client behaves in an unsafe or disrespectful manner.

 

Medical Disclosure Policy

Clients must disclose all relevant medical history, medications, allergies, or recent procedures prior to treatment. Certain conditions or prescriptions may contraindicate services.
Failure to disclose important health information may result in appointment cancellation or adverse reactions.

 

Photography & Media Consent Policy

K Beauty Bar documents treatment progress with before-and-after photos. By receiving services at K Beauty Bar, clients acknowledge and agree to:

  • Photos being taken of the treated areas for documentation and treatment progress
  • Possible use of these images for educational or promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and marketing materials
  • Limited retouching for clarity while preserving authentic results
  • Copyright of all images belonging to the owner of K Beauty Bar

Clients may request to opt out of marketing use; however, documentation photos for medical records may still be required.

 

Pregnancy Policy

Client safety is the highest priority at K Beauty Bar.

  • Clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding must inform the practitioner before booking.
  • Many advanced treatments (peels, microneedling, certain devices, and actives) are not suitable during pregnancy or nursing.
  • K Beauty Bar does not perform treatments on clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If a client becomes pregnant during a treatment plan, sessions may be paused and resumed once medically cleared.
  • Refunds are not provided for unused sessions, but expiration dates may be extended to accommodate the client’s timeline.

 

Guests & Children Policy

To ensure a calm and safe treatment environment:

  • Clients must attend their appointment alone.
  • Guests, children, and pets are not permitted in the treatment area.

This policy maintains safety and ensures the practitioner can provide uninterrupted care.
